(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 9 - The new 'Genius Italy' exhibit at Expo
Dubai showcases Italian ingenuity, Industry Minister Giancarlo
Giorgetti said in unveiling the show along with Unioncamere
chambers of commerce Vice President Antonio Paoletti.
"The show," a statement said, "is a detailed manifesto of Italian industrial design, able to offer, with works of Italian ingenuity, a journey through the evolution and characteristics of the most creative products, which show how to make, stimulate and lead innovation".
It said "from the 1960s to our time, it in fact presents not only objects that have become world design icons and have profoundly influenced daily life, but also the newest and most innovative goods, and the most cutting-edge technological research".
The exhibit takes the visitor on a journey through five areas: imaginable, workable, relationable, liveable and moveable.
The Italian Industrial Design Association, ADI, worked on the project with Unioncamere and the Italian Trade Agency (ITA).
